Eustis Engineering was founded in 1946 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. We were one of the first private firms to practice soil mechanics in the south and the oldest in Louisiana. The company's first project was the Rex Brown Steam-Electric Station in Mississippi.

In 1950, we moved our operations to Metairie, Louisiana. We opened a branch office in Scott, Louisiana in 2005. We also formed Eustis Engineering Company, Inc. of Mississippi in Gulfport in 2006.

In our first 50 years, we completed more than 14,000 projects in 22 states and a dozen foreign countries. A few signature projects include the Louisiana Superdome, One Shell Square, and the Causeway Bridge that spans Lake Pontchartrain. While our past experiences are invaluable, they also provide the impetus for research and the continuing development of new technology. Eustis Engineering continues forward by providing engineering that is shaping New Orleans and the Gulf South through participation in hurricane protection projects and other major infrastructure programs.
