Eustis Engineering employees donated non-perishable food items and cash to help eight needy families enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner through Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans. This is the third year Eustis Engineering has collected for the cause. In 2016, 180 families, corporations, and groups donated so more than 1,100 people could receive food baskets at Thanksgiving or Christmas gifts from Catholic Charities. For the past three Christmas holidays, Eustis Engineering has also "adopted" families through several programs in the New Orleans area. This year, Eustis Engineering will adopt two families in need through the Covenant House's Early Head Start program. The program addresses the needs of homeless single parents who are transitioning into housing with their young children who are transitioning into school.
