Engineers present instrumentation case study in Las Vegas

D.J. Benedetto, Jim Hance and Cory Baldwin

Jim Hance, Senior Project Manager and Vice President (Finance), and Engineering Geologist D. J. Benedetto presented a case study at HxGN LIVE in Las Vegas on 15 June. The presentation focused on a Eustis Engineering project that used nearly real-time geotechnical instrumentation to assess a distressed industrial dock on the Mississippi River. Data collected from the instrumentation are being used to design a permanent solution to stabilize the dock. HxGN LIVE, a conference presented by information technology company Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure, explores innovative technologies.
