Eustis Engineering provided geotechnical, construction materials testing, and engineering during construction services for two four-story apartments and attached parking garages on Conti Street along the Lafitte Greenway bike trail in Mid-City. Our services included the performance of soil borings and laboratory tests, foundation recommendations, a test pile program, and oversight of pile load testing services. The bike trail and retail development has "prompted a surge in residential development beyond anything the neighborhood has seen in decades, according to local real estate analysts," a May 28 story by The Advocate states. The Greenway stretches through the French Quarter, Tremé, Bayou St. John, and Mid-City.
