NORA NAVRA LIBRARY

Just in time for the start of the school year, the Nora Navra branch of the New Orleans Public Library on St. Bernard Avenue has reopened for the first time since the building flooded during Hurricane Katrina.  The former building was demolished in 2017. Eustis Engineering performed geotechnical drilling and made foundation recommendations for the new 7,800 square foot building.  The library’s grand re-opening celebration will be 24 August from 2 to 5 p.m. and 25 August from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
