The 2023 Louisiana Civil Engineering Conference and Show (LCECS) was a big hit in the civil engineering industry, as always. Eustis Engineering was able to sponsor the event, participate as an exhibitor, and send several attendees to the 33rd annual conference. Gwen Sanders, P.E., moderated sessions on Day 2 and engineers Patrick Thurmond , P.E., and James Williams, P.E., presented on Earthen Preload/Surcharge Design Consideration and Uses. Ben Cody, P.E., was also recognized at the Keynote Luncheon as the Louisiana Section Outstanding Civil Engineer of the Year. He is also a longtime member of the LCECS planning committee. We would like to thank all those who helped and who continue to make LCECS possible. We will see y’all next year at the 34th annual conference!
